About els-wg	English (USA)
The main purpose of this list is to raise awareness of ethical, legal, and social issues (ELSI) in health informatics. Informatics, like other health professions, is shaped by ethical, social, and legal issues as well as scientific and clinical ones. Membership in the ELSI group provides opportunities to explore and debate these issues, develop and acquire teaching and research tools, and advance important areas of professional practice. To post a message to all the list members, send email to els-wg@mailman.amia.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to els-wg
Subscribe to els-wg by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email.
